Responsibilities: Direct all phases of Engineering Design projects - estimating, project direction / execution, and through construction and commissioning support
Participate and support our client's projects by supporting engineering (basic and detailed), procurement, fabrication and construction
Maintain a strategic focus for the projects with frequent interaction with the business unit and the client to ensure a balance between the immediate project needs and the long term goals of the company
Manage the execute one or more simultaneous projects ranging from $0.5MM to $30MM that are affiliated with our Industrial Gas, Chemical, Commercial and other third-party customers
Our projects are primarily located within operating facilities or brownfield locations
Utilize project management methodologies, systems and tools as required to meet the needs of various project assignments
Assist with Business Development and New Client acquisition
You will lead Project Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction among the functional representatives
Track projects against their schedules, budgets and against phase gate review objectives, reporting status to management and customer on a regular basis
Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated occurrences
Maintain awareness of safety and environmental requirements

Qualifications: Minimum of seven years industrial related project experience, with at least 3 years of project management experience
Possess a general understanding of contract administration, business principals and have a broad understanding of each engineering discipline
PE Licensing and / or PMP Certification is beneficial
Experience in construction is desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability and willingness to travel to client locations or project sites.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Education: BS degree in a technical or engineering discipline

Job Type: Full-time, on-site in our Buffalo, NY office.
Compensation: $90,000 to $140,000 per year, dependent upon experience.
