• Employment Type: TravelSalary: $2,400.16/weekMedical specialty: ICU StepdownStandard shift: Days/Evenings/Nights, Rotational Shifts, Weekends, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs.Weekly schedule: 3x12Description:Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence based practice, The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent care based on established standards.The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum 02 years' experience required.Must have Stepdown / PCU experience.Needs experience in Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, 3%NS and cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil/clips, DBS Insertion (Deep Brain Stimulator), VP shunts, seizures.High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required.Telemetry experience required.Education:Required Education:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.Minimum Degree Required:Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)Preferred Education:Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.Required Certifications & Licensure:Current NY State RN License required.BLS and ACLS required.Preferred Skills:Cardiac Operating Room experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred.ProKatchers LLC is revolutionizing healthcare staffing!
