  • Position / Specialty: MS/Tele RN
  • Ratios: Normal Ratios for med/surg, Day and Eve 5:1, Nights 6 or 7:1.
  • Stretch Ratios for Med/Surg Day/Eve 6:1 Nights 9-10:1
  • PCT's on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG's and any sort of activity of daily living
  • In-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws; nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines
  • Years of experience REQ: 1
  • First-timers accepted: Yes
  • Weekend REQ: EOW
  • Certs REQ: BLS, NIH
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Special Requirements: Tele required. Heparin Protocols required.

    • 1 year of experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • NIH Stroke Certification required within 1 year of contract start date
    • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
    • No locals accepted (50 miles radius)
    • Pending License not accepted
    • RTO Restrictions: No more than 1 week RTO in a contract
    • No holiday RTO
      • Schedule Information
      • Float to MS, ICU, ED as needed
      • Open to accommodating block schedule, but not guaranteed
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Patient Diagnosis: cardiac disease, stroke, infection, pain, PE
        • Special Equipment: bladder scanners, tele, EKG machines, lifepacks
          • Additional Details
          • AHA only for certifications
          • Orientation Modules due the Thursday prior to start at 2pm EST
          • Modules take about 4-6 hours to complete
          • Current Health Form/Physical Fitness for Duty signed and dated by provider within a year of start
