Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department (ED) in a Critical Care setting. The position requires rotating shifts (Days/Nights or Mids/Nights), with a schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care for patients across various critical care conditions, including Trauma , Stroke , Cardiac , and General Medicine . Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED) with conditions such as Trauma , Stroke , Cardiac issues , and General Medicine . Floating between departments as needed. Work rotating shifts (Days/Nights or Mids/Nights). Every other weekend and holiday shifts are expected. Handle critical care situations with competence and confidence, including complex medical procedures. Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation before starting the contract. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of inpatient RN experience in critical care or emergency settings required. Must have active AHA certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NIH Stroke Scale Certification Floating between units is expected. Must be outside of a 75-mile radius from the facility (local candidates within 75 miles will not be considered). Additional Information: The facility reserves the right to call off up to 3 shifts for a 13-week contract and 2 shifts for a contract less than 13 weeks . Competitive pay and benefits package.
