POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe PRN On-Call Interventional Radiology Technologist in the Enhanced Staffing Solutions Local Flex Team is responsible for providing quality patient care in a manner that reflects a commitment to the core values of the Rochester Regional Health System. In any patient care setting, the IR Tech preforms and assists radiologists in performing radiographic procedures, obtaining images of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures. By working on assignments and/or floating through Rochester Regional Health facilities, you provide care where its needed most*. **In this role, your primary responsibility is to provide on call coverage outside of core hours (evenings/nights/weekends). If called, you will be asked to report to the facility within 30 minutes to support patients in our community. If you are called in there is a 4-hour minimum at Callback Pay.*On Call Rate: $5.00/hourCallback Pay: $65.00/hourRequired Credentials* NYS License in Radiologic Technology* American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R)* BLS - PreferredExperience Required* Graduation from accredited school of radiological technology or equivalent.* Two years of Radiologic Technologist experience and two years of Interventional Radiology experienceSkills & Abilities* Responsible for radiography of patients in all assigned areas including angiography, interventional, and digital subtraction angiography.* Maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts.* Maintain accountability for patient throughout the angiographic area.* Provide on-call coverage for Interventional Section of Radiology.* Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and in patient charts as necessary.* Clean, restock, and prepare rooms daily.* Attend hospital and departmental meetings and in-service training.* Provide excellent customer service.* Transport medications with patients to procedure and give medications to Physicians.* Perform other duties as assigned.Specialty: Interventional Radiology TechnologistLocation: Rochester, NYBenefits: NoneShift: Evening/NightHoliday & Weekend RequirementsEOE* #HWLHOSTJob Type: Part-timePay: $65.00 per hourBenefits:* Flexible scheduleSchedule:* 12 hour shift* Choose your own hours* Evening shift* Night shift* On call* Weekends as neededWork Location: In personby Jobble
