*Pay Package:*



*Gross Weekly: $1,716/week (48 hrs)*



*Breakdown:*



*W2 (Taxable): $33/hour*

*Shift: Day & Night 4x12-Hour*

*Assignment Length: 8 to 13 weeks*



*Job Description:*



*The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Medical-Surgical Unit will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician. The role involves assessing patient needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with treatments and procedures, and ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.*



*Key Responsibilities:*


* *Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit, assisting with daily activities, hygiene, and mobility.*
* *Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as per physician's orders and facility protocols.*
* *Monitor vital signs, intake/output, pain levels, and overall patient conditions.*
* *Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.).*
* *Assist RNs and physicians with procedures, wound care, and post-operative care.*
* *Educate patients and families on post-hospital care, medications, and discharge instructions.*
* *Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques in all patient interactions.*
* *Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including RNs, physicians, therapists, and case managers, to develop patient care plans.*



*Required Qualifications:*


* *Active LPN license in the state of New York (or compact license if applicable).*
* *BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required.*
* *Minimum 2+ year of LPN experience in Med-Surg, Acute Care, or a Hospital Setting preferred.*
* *Proficiency in EMR charting systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) preferred.*
* *Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.*
* *Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.*

Pay: $1,700.00 - $1,716.00 per week
