13 week Operating Room Registered Nurse First Assistant travel assignment

Client in Rochester, NY is looking for a Operating Room Registered Nurse First Assistant to help them out for 13 weeks.

One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse First Assistant preferred
Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending. Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate

RN first assisting experience is essential. Must have a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing, BLS certification, and CNOR and Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA or CRNFA) are preferred.
