Insurance Technical Assistant

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, DOE with potential bonus
A well-established mid-sized insurance firm in Rochester, NY is
seeking a Technical Assistant to support the processing of
commercial insurance transactions for an assigned book of business.
This role ensures efficient workflow, data integrity, and timely
client servicing.
This company offers a family-friendly work environment with remote
capabilities! You must be able to commute to the Rochester office
when required.
Responsibilities:
--- Assist Account Representatives with client servicing and
administrative tasks.
--- Process insurance endorsements, including checking, invoicing,
mailing, and managing suspense.
--- Perform data entry and renewal processing while ensuring
database accuracy.
--- Issue certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and maintain
certificate holder lists.
--- Process policy audits as instructed.
--- Manage insurance transactions through automated workflows,
ensuring data integrity and proper documentation.
--- Utilize automation tools for correspondence, suspense
management, and file documentation.
Qualifications:
--- Previous experience in insurance or administrative support
preferred.
--- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
--- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment.
