Job Title: RN - Ventilation Unit, Nights Job Specialty: Vent Unit Nursing Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hour Shifts Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Two (2) Years License: RN License (NY Only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association Only) Must-Have: - Telemetry Experience - Vent Experience - 1 Year of Ventilator Experience Job Description: - Work in a 25-bed long-term care unit providing care to a 20-bed adult population on ventilators and 5 pediatric beds. - Care for both ventilator-dependent and non-ventilator-dependent pediatric patients with various medical/surgical diagnoses. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient care. - Demonstrate positive communication skills, flexibility, creativity, and a commitment to teamwork in a fast-paced setting. - Work Week 1: Three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). - Work Week 2: Three 12-hour shifts plus one 8-hour shift, totaling 80 hours over two weeks.
